The Dragon Shelter

Good morning friends As some of you might know I run an animal rescue and do (licensed and insured) animal encounters to support their care. One of my big ideas was to turn the rice trailer Horse Box I’d purchased for our tiny pony Paddy, into a mini zoo/sensory space for children with extra needs. It was painted purple and the floor is ships wood and new. My friend and I had started to make foundations inside to support the ‘mini zoo’ enclosures and a space for Paddy however, running out of funds I then decided - ‘next year’s project!’ However, sadly my actual car is now (almost!) a right off and this is now my priority as I need a car to get to rescues and encounters and drive my kids around. Therefore I have decided to sell the horse trailer. If anyone knows of someone who might be interested in it, please share this post with them. Trailers can be up cycled and made into mini craft spaces for children’s parties small coffee stations, it’s purple so maybe someone Lavender Fields might want to buy it, or maybe you could make your own mini beauty salon inside it and get yourself mobile. I’m really very sad about this as it was going to be so great when finished but the animals are my priority, as are my children and Driving in a safe car. I’m happy to do a good deal, but won’t be selling for ‘peanuts’ as the options are endless. Here are some pics…

I also have a tow bar I can give you, I had it fixed to my car at great expense last year, It will need to be professionally taken of and fixed to your car. Also don’t let anyone tell you you’ll never be able to drive it. After being unable to reverse it at all, I’ve driven it down the M25, country roads (ok I got stuck once!) and I’ve done a 25 point turn in a tiny car park. Once I’ve lined it up with my car tow, it takes me less than 5mins to attach it to my car! 💪

Following on from the end of my last post, (about there being another cat I would be looking for a forever home for) Yesterday, things got a bit more complicated and expensive, but I wasn’t going to leave her where she was. I completely realise that there is much going on in the world than a tiny cat 🐈‍⬛ but If anyone is able to donate even £2 towards her rather large operation today, I’d be so grateful. The Oasis Academy Byron School Summer Fair will be on Saturday 15th June between 11am and 3pm.
Featuring at the fair this year will be:

Almost 3 Weeks to the day! I held Bruce, confidently twice. I’ve been so worried about picking him up as he’s SO huge, but he let me and was as relaxed as an Iguana can be, I almost think he enjoyed it!! It’s important for me that I am able to pick them up because, as in this case, he was covered in poo, I needed to clean out where he was sitting, if he ever needs the vet I have to be able to get him there, I also want to be able to show him the world, not just keep him in a giant box, I want to take him in the garden in the summer, smell flowers climb a (small!) tree (supervised!) and I need to give the stinker a proper wash and clean, he’s never had one in all his 8 years apparently! Bruce the King oh how I loveth thee!
