Check out the excellent exhibition at the British Museum on Indigenous Australia (April to August 2015) highlighting a wide range of aboriginal art, films and talks on the language and music of this amazing culture. Looking forward to a great Australia late evening on 13th June 2015 as part of the Origins festival with some authentic didgeridoo. All free! Yey!

For all lovers of music out there, coincidentally the Royal Anthropological Institute (RAI) has two great research seminars coming up: On Wed 15th October there's a talk on Ethnomusicology which explores the relationship between music and culture and on 23rd Oct a fabulous talk by Noel Lobley who looks at the concept of curating sound from the West African rainforests to the community streets. Great exhibition of Banky's Street Art painting on show at Sotheby's S2 gallery, London. The interesting question this raises is does it matter whether its an authorised or unauthorised show?
