Today, our wonderful teams have come together at the beautiful The Ahoy Centre for a day of learning and professional development.

Today our Toddler Room had lots of fun freeing minibeasts trapped in ice. The children used hammers and pipettes to chip, melt and explore as they worked together to rescue the creatures inside.
A fantastic hands-on activity supporting curiosity, problem-solving and fine motor skills. 💛🔨✨

🌊🐚 Our baby room enjoyed a wonderful sea-themed tuff tray, filled with coloured water, soft sand, and pasta “seaweed,” creating the perfect sensory experience! 🐠💙

Squishing the sand between their fingers, splashing in the water, and exploring different textures helps to develop fine motor skills, sensory awareness, curiosity, and imaginative play!

🍋 Our children enjoyed exploring a sensory tuff tray filled with lemons, ice, and fresh mint. They had lots of fun squeezing lemons, exploring different textures and scents, and using their imaginations to make refreshing lemonade and lemon and mint tea. It was a wonderful activity that encouraged sensory exploration, creativity, and imaginative play! 🍋

Today we said goodbye as we released them into their natural habitat 💛
