Thusitha was an active and dedicated member of St. Aloysius College OBA UK. He was well-loved for his contributions, support, and commitment to our community, and he will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all who knew him.

Reviving the Old Aloysians Sports Club (Australia) Inc.

Founded in Melbourne in 1983, the Old Aloysians Sports Club (Australia) Inc. is one of the oldest Sri Lankan Old Boys’ associations in Australia and a legacy that generations of Aloysians can be proud of.

As with many long-standing community organisations, the Club now faces challenges in maintaining momentum and attracting new participation. However, every challenge also presents an opportunity—an opportunity to bring together fresh ideas, renewed enthusiasm, and a new generation of Aloysians to build upon the strong foundation laid by those who came before us.

The Club represents far more than sport. It is a platform for friendship, fellowship, networking, community engagement, and preserving the proud traditions and values of our alma mater. The efforts and dedication of past members over more than four decades deserve our gratitude and respect.

The future of the Club will depend on the collective support and participation of Aloysians across Australia. With unity, goodwill, and a shared commitment, there is every reason to believe that this proud legacy can be strengthened and carried forward for future generations.

It may not be an easy task, but preserving and revitalising an old but gold legacy is a responsibility worth embracing.
