Ofsted is running a series of Education Inspection Framework (EIF) curriculum roadshows for Early Years settings. These events will be held regionally across the country, between June and July this year. We intend to run a specific roadshow for maintained nurseries later in the year.

These half-day events will offer the opportunity to learn more about how we look at language and communication at inspection and what we have learnt about the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Two representatives from your provision are welcome to attend (first come basis). Each person attending will need to register separately.

Kiran Rehal is the DBS Regional Outreach Adviser for Greater London and a point of contact for any enquiries about DBS. She will be delivering a session to explain the purpose of the DBS, the services and products it provides and the part it plays in safer recruitment.

Care for the Family, Time Out for Parents Courses June to July 2022
Youth Action Diversity Trust are working in partnership with 'Care for the Family' to run these fantastic Time out for Parent courses. The sessions are led by our friendly, experienced and qualified Team and are designed to support parents and carers and help you build a strong and secure relationship with your child whatever their age.

As comes to a close, we’re reminding parents that babies and small children mostly drown at home in the bath or in the garden, in just a few centimetres of water.

It’s scary to think about but drowning is silent so parents won’t hear any cries of distress.

That’s why we advise staying with your baby or young child at all times whilst they’re in the bath.

And keep them within arm’s reach to keep them safe.
