The was a hoot. Our skilled drama scholars from years 8-10 performed excerpts from scripts by various playwrights, such as the political Caryl Churchill & the contemporary Pheobe Wallace Bridge .

Year 7-10 are taking part in two LAMDA exams: Acting and Public Speaking! The students showed professionalism and stardom qualities. The first group took the exam on the 28th, the next group will be on the 11th! Wish them luck.

What a privilege it was to have The Donmar Warehouse attending Pimlico Academy again. Years 7 and 8 were treated to a unique and imaginative version of Macbeth. We can not wait to work with the Donmar Warehouse again.

Summer Festival at Pimlico: Although it is still not hot, it is sizzling here. Come to Pimlico on July 11th for an evening when our students will display their art, drama, and music talents—tickets on Parent Pay.

Year 8 at Pimlico Academy enjoyed Standing At The Sky's Edge yesterday. Thank you to Gillian Lynne's Theatre for hosting us. We laughed, we cried, and we had a fabulous time.

Thank you, Bridge Theatre, for hosting us in this immersive production of Guys and Dolls. Years 9 and 10 from Pimlico Academy enjoyed it thoroughly, danced on the stage, and even got their books signed by the performers.

Well done to all students who performed The Girl from Aleppo by Cecilia McDowall at the Barbican this week. Thanks to Westminster Music for inviting us to perform.

Thank you to The Royal College of Music for coming to perform a new composition to our feeder primaries and year 7 students this week.

Thank you, Bayo, Rachel, James, and Antoine, for meeting with our year 12 at Pimlico Academy! It was a pleasure to host the panel yesterday, and we are very excited to host you again in the future.

On Wednesday, we had Zakiyyah Deen, a former pupil, lead a fantastic workshop for Year 9 and Year 8 classes. Students created performances about political topics of interest. It was very successful and we hope to work with Zakiyyah again as she develops her play.

We were enthralled to have The Royal Court for our enrichment day. Year 7 students learned and practised acting, directing, playwriting, and producing workshops. The results of their work are in front of your eyes!

Theatre week was bliss.
Thanks to all the teachers who participated, the students who came, and the theatres that welcomed us. Pimlico Academy can't wait for the next show.
