Winston House: UNC-Chapel Hill European Study Center

March was such an eventful month in London with our Spring 2026 students! We explored more areas of the city, bonded at Winston House social events, and celebrated our students!

Sodlau Tar yng Nghymru = Tar Heels in Wales!🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🩵 This weekend our students traveled from London to Cardiff, and explored a historical capital city in the UK. They toured the city center and its shopping arcades, famous rugby stadium, Bute Park, Cardiff Castle, and more! What an unforgettable weekend with the Spring 2026 students! Hwyl fawr Cymru 👋

Welcome to London, Tar Heels!! 🇬🇧 Here are some exciting things our UNC Spring 2026 students did during Orientation Week!

From scavenger hunts across the city to touring to attending classes, students got the chance to get to know each other and their new home for the next few months!

And to close out the first week, students explored two essential London landmarks: St. Paul’s Cathedral and the Tate Modern!

📍 Honors Semester in London Fall 2025

The beginning of the semester started off with an unforgettable journey through some of London’s most iconic landmarks - from walking across the majestic Tower Bridge, to exploring the historic halls of Westminster Abbey, and uncovering centuries of stories inside the Tower of London ✨

It was a weekend full of history, architecture and a little bit of royal mystery. 👑

Crouch, bind, set! Today our International Sports Management Group received a private tour of Twickenham Stadium, also known as the home of England Rugby. They learned all about the history of rugby in England and it’s developments as a sport and stadium all while walking through its private suites and following in the footsteps of its many athletes.
