For some children, learning flourishes when they feel safe, understood and supported in an environment where they can be themselves.

AOSE Educational Support provides personalised 1:1 educational support for children experiencing barriers to learning, including school anxiety, EBSA, low confidence, SEND-related needs and difficulties engaging with education.

Through calm, nurturing and child-centred support, we help children rebuild confidence, develop resilience and reconnect with learning at their own pace.

Every family's educational journey is unique.

Families choose home education for many different reasons. Some children thrive learning outside of a traditional school environment, whilst others may have experienced anxiety, SEND-related barriers, emotional wellbeing difficulties, or challenges that have made accessing school particularly difficult.

At AOSE Educational Support, I understand that learning looks different for every child.

My aim is not to recreate school at home, but to provide calm, nurturing, and personalised support that helps children build confidence, develop positive relationships with learning, and feel successful in a way that works for them.

Support is tailored to each child's individual needs, interests, strengths, and goals. Whether a child requires gentle re-engagement with learning, confidence-building support, SEND-aware educational activities, emotional wellbeing support, or simply an encouraging and trusted adult to help them move forward, sessions are designed around the child rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.

✨ Meet the person behind AOSE Educational Support ✨

Hello, I'm Kelly, founder of AOSE Educational Support (Aspire Oak Specialist Education).

I am a qualified primary teacher with a BA (Hons) in Early Childhood Studies and a PGCE, and I have worked within education since 2012. Throughout my career, I have been passionate about supporting children as individuals, recognising that every child learns differently and deserves to feel understood, valued, and capable.

As both an education professional and a parent, I understand the challenges that anxiety, emotional wellbeing needs, and SEND-related barriers can bring for children and their families. These experiences have shaped the heart of AOSE and the calm, nurturing approach that underpins all of the support I provide.

At AOSE, I believe that emotional safety, trust, and positive relationships are the foundations for learning. My aim is to help children rebuild confidence, develop resilience, and engage with education in a way that feels achievable and supportive.

Every child has potential. With the right support, understanding, and time, they can grow, believe in themselves, and thrive. 🌿

Half term can bring mixed emotions for families. 🌿

For some children, it may feel like a much-needed opportunity to rest, regulate, and recover from the pressures of school life.

For others, the change in routine or worries about returning to school may still feel overwhelming.

If your child is struggling with anxiety, emotional wellbeing, or difficulties engaging with education, gentle days, lowered expectations, and emotional safety can make a meaningful difference.

Sometimes the most important things are:
🌿 rest
🌿 connection
🌿 predictability
🌿 reassurance
🌿 and simply feeling understood.

There is no “perfect” way to spend half term.
