IELTS Reading is not a word-matching exercise.

The answer may not use the exact same words from the question.

Instead of asking, “Where are the same words?”
Ask, “Where is the same information?”

Same words can mislead you.
Same meaning leads you to the answer.

Save this for your next IELTS Reading practice.

Faiza wasn’t short of effort.

She had taken IELTS twice and was still stuck at Band 6.5 in Writing.

With personalised writing feedback and guidance, she was able to reach band 7.5!

Sometimes the problem is not hard work.
It is not knowing exactly what to fix.

Congratulations, Faiza. 👏

Don’t know what to say in IELTS Speaking?

Don’t freeze because your answer feels too simple.

You don’t need the most interesting or unusual answer.
You need one you can develop clearly.

Answer the question.
Add a detail.
Explain naturally.

IELTS Speaking isn't testing how exciting your life is.
It tests how clearly you communicate.

Your overview should not repeat your introduction.

In IELTS Academic Writing T1, the introduction tells the reader what the visual shows.

The overview summarises the main features (the key trends, differences, or similarities).

Before writing it, ask:

- What is the overall trend?
- What stands out?
- What is the main contrast?

Introduce the visual. Then summarise it.

Save this for for Band 7+ in IELTS Academic Writing.

Komal improved her IELTS score with the right guidance.

Before MIG, she was stuck at 6.5 in Speaking and 5.5 in Writing with limited time to prepare.

After just a few sessions, she improved to:

Speaking: 7, Writing: 6.5

We’re proud of her progress. 👏

“I never heard the answer” is not always true.

In IELTS Listening, the answer is often there, but students miss it in the moment.

They lose focus for a second, don’t recognise the paraphrase, or stay stuck on the previous question.

The recording does not pause.

So don’t just listen harder.
Stay focused and move with the recording.

Don’t freeze because your IELTS Speaking answer feels too simple.

Your answer does not need to be impressive.
It just needs to be clear.

Answer the question.

Strong English alone is not enough for IELTS Reading.

You need to locate information quickly, recognise paraphrase, avoid distractors, and manage time under pressure.

It is not just reading.
It is reading with strategy.

IELTS Speaking is an interview, but it should not sound robotic.

Many candidates answer the question and stop too quickly.

But short answers give you less chance to show fluency, range, and natural communication.

A better approach:

- Answer.
- Add detail.
- Explain naturally.

Think of the examiner as someone genuinely interested in your answer.
