Obsessive…

EXCELLENT! All is going according to plan!

Poor Bailey has been sick this week but seems better today. What do you do to look after yourself? Bailey has rested and had lots of cuddles!

Goodbye…
Anyone else struggle with change? Goodbyes are hard. People say you must embrace change but it’s also okay to feel a little sad. Feel the feels. Just try not to sit with it for too long that it envelops you 🙏🏼🌳

So long Moat Mount, you have been awesome, fun, wet, joyful, soggy, muddy, tricky, inspiring, challenging, beautiful. I have taught Forest School here for two and a half years. I am very lucky. It has not only been a place where the children I teach have loved and are desperately sad to leave, but it has been a place which has helped me find myself again. I did not realise that until just now. These trees have helped me grow, they have listened when I have been sad and when I have been celebrating. What pure joy and a gift. And to Peter who has been amazing - I thank you 👏🏼

Unsettled…
I was feeling rather unsettled today and I was a little lost in my head. When you feel like that how do you help yourself to feel better?

Pause. Ask yourself these questions.
1. How am I feeling?
2. Where in my body am I feeling this?
3. Why am I feeling this?
4. What can I do to help myself to feel better?
5. Who can I talk to about how I am feeling?

Remember to practice self care and be kind to yourself.

He is more than nice!

Spring…
Find the ‘Spring’ in your step. Look for the joy. Find the beauty. Savour the moment.

I am loving finding the Spring flowers. Magnolias are a firm favourite. When I mentioned to a wonderful person about the fact they don’t last long and the mess of the petals, he said “But even the mess is beautiful”. What an amazing redirection. Stay present. Forever grateful 🙏🏼

Blessed…
I’m feeling blessed today. I work here in this woodland with children who are happy to be here with Bailey and I.

Such a joy. What a gift.

I’m feeling grateful and thankful for all that I have. I hope you are too.
