Once someone told me...
"A good leader can only be as good as their team is" 🌟
Let me tell you what's wrong with this statement...
The team doesn't make the leader, quite the other way around
The leader makes the team
Without strong leadership, we are all working for an entity that no one really cares who that is, they just want to get paid.
Companies are full of independent employees who work for a team but don't feel part of that same team. They work on their daily tasks, independently but don't feel a sense of belonging or a higher purpose in what they do
A good leader makes a difference, it's an ability to glue people together and give them a purpose 🤝
As Mark Zuckenberg once said: the new generation doesn't choose companies anymore for their numbers or attractive salaries, they're choosing companies for their values and purpose in today's society. 💡
Companies that provide a sense of belonging and union.
