We are pleased to announce that our performance at A Level this year has seen a sharp rise in grades at all levels, and alongside it, success in attaining places at first-choice universities.
Of those who applied to higher education establishments, 80% of students attained their first-choice university. This will see students leave the School to attend UCL, Warwick, York, Sussex, and Liverpool alongside a range of other excellent universities. Business, Computer Science, and Criminology were the most popularly applied-for subjects; however, Mount House will be represented in a huge range of faculties including Anthropology, Biological Sciences, Law, Marine Biology, and Sports Science, to name but a few. Our creative students have also been accepted to institutions such as the Fashion Retail Academy. This wide range of subjects and institutions highlights our commitment to supporting students with the right choices for them. Knowing each individual so well really helps us guide them through decisions, and we are proud of them all. In line with the School’s global outlook, Sixth Formers will also be studying overseas, including Medicine in Spain, and a further student destined for a top-flight university in Japan to read Science.
