Chevening Scholarships 2027/28 Applications Open on 4 August!

If you have a vision to lead, serve, and create lasting impact, this is your opportunity to apply for the fully funded Chevening Scholarship, the UK Government's flagship international scholarship programme.

Who can apply?
✅ Citizens of Chevening-eligible countries, including Zambia
✅ Hold an undergraduate degree
✅ Have at least 2 years (2,800 hours) of eligible work experience
✅ Demonstrate leadership potential and a commitment to making a positive impact
✅ Apply for three eligible one-year Master's programmes at UK universities.

✨ Catching Up with Our Chevening Scholar: Alex

From standing outside the gates of Buckingham Palace as a tourist to walking through its historic halls as a special guest.

Alex Chitumbi recently attended a special event at Buckingham Palace hosted by Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal (Princess Anne) alongside VSO’s Board and Senior Leadership.
One of the highlights of the occasion was the opportunity to engage with Princess Anne Walking through the Palace, standing in rooms filled with history, and having the opportunity to speak directly with the only daughter of the late Queen Elizabeth II was a humbling experience. One of the greatest highlights of the day was reconnecting with my former VSO colleagues, Dr L. Engelmann and Georgie.
