🎓🇬🇧 Taking the Chevening Opportunity Closer to Students!

The Chevening Alumni Association of Zambia (CAAZ) Zambia Chevening Alumni Association had the privilege of engaging students at Cavendish University Zambia Cavendish university zambia to share insights on the Chevening Scholarship, its application process, eligibility, benefits, and the opportunities it offers for studying in the UK.

On Friday, 28 August 2026, the British High Commissioner to Zambia hosted a farewell reception in Lusaka to celebrate six Zambian Chevening Scholars from the 2026–2027 cohort, alongside Commonwealth, Oxford and Cambridge scholars.

The reception brought together the scholars, partners and stakeholders to celebrate their achievements and wish them well as they prepare to commence their studies in the United Kingdom.

The event provided an opportunity for networking, knowledge exchange and reflection on the scholars’ role as future leaders and ambassadors in strengthening the longstanding ties between Zambia and the United Kingdom.

A special congratulations to our six Chevening Scholars! 🇿🇲🇬🇧👏🏾👏🏾 We wish you every success as you embark on this exciting journey and look forward to seeing the impact you will make in Zambia and beyond.

The Chevening Alumni Association of Zambia (CAAZ) warmly congratulates our Chevening alumna, Shula Kasongamulilo, on her appointment as Executive Director of the Centre for Water, Sanitation and Rehabilitation (WASAReC) and her election to the Executive Committee of Global Water Partnership Zambia (GWP Zambia).

This is a well-deserved recognition of her leadership and commitment to water security and sustainable development in Zambia.
