Stopped out... then straight back to the charts.

My first AUDJPY long didn't work. The stop was hit, and that's simply part of trading.

Instead of writing the idea off, I went back to the higher time frame. The weekly demand zone was still valid, so I waited for confirmation before taking a second long.

This time the market respected the zone perfectly.

A losing trade doesn't always mean the analysis was wrong. Sometimes it simply means waiting for the market to confirm the opportunity again.

πŸ“ˆ US100 Trade Review – Trust the Process

Not every trade is a winner... and that's okay.

Our first long trade was stopped out exactly as planned.
Instead of chasing the market, we stuck to our trading plan and identified a second demand zone.

The result:
βœ… First trade – Planned stop loss
βœ… Second trade – Target 1 hit
βœ… Target 2 hit
πŸ”’ Stops now trailed to protect profits
🎯 Target 3 & 4 still in play

Successful trading isn't about being right every time. It's about keeping losses small, following your process, and taking the next high-quality opportunity when it appears.

πŸ“Š **Weekly Market Summary – Week Ending 31 July 2026**

It was a busy week across the financial markets, with major technology earnings producing some very different reactions.

Microsoft and Amazon moved sharply higher following strong results, while Apple and Meta came under pressure. Meanwhile, the Federal Reserve kept interest rates unchanged but maintained a cautious, slightly hawkish tone as inflation remained above target.

In this week’s market summary, we look at:

βœ… The contrasting reactions to major technology earnings
βœ… What the Fed’s latest decision means for traders
βœ… Key movements across equities, forex, commodities and crypto
βœ… The important economic events coming up next week

The week offered another useful reminder: markets don’t simply react to whether news is good or bad. They react to how the outcome compares with expectations.

πŸ“ˆ US30 Swing Trade - All 4 Targets Hit 🎯🎯🎯🎯

One of the hardest parts of swing trading isn't finding the setup -it's having the patience to stay in the trade.

Markets rarely move in a straight line. There are pullbacks, periods of consolidation and moments that make you question your analysis. That's where discipline comes in.

This US30 trade rewarded patience. By sticking to the plan and allowing the trade time to develop, every target was achieved.

βœ… Target 1 βœ… Target 2 βœ… Target 3 βœ… Target 4

The best traders don't just know when to enter - they know when not to interfere.

This week in the markets, we saw a risk-off sentiment take hold, with equities mostly declining, led by a significant drop in the Nasdaq. Concerns over slowing economic growth and mixed inflation data played a major role. In commodities, crude oil surged on supply concerns, while precious metals like gold and silver fell.

The forex market saw a slight weakening of the USD, with notable shifts in commodity-linked currencies. Cryptocurrencies were mixed, with Ethereum showing strength. The rise in the VIX points to increased market volatility.
