** Theatre Tribe Announcement

Hello all Tribers and Theatre Tribe families!

Happy New Year (...just squeezed it in!) from TT HQ and hoping you've had a brilliant start to 2025. I wanted to share with you all some news moving forward…

After 14 incredible years hosting our wonderful Musical Theatre holiday camp courses, I have decided to ‘lower the front curtain’ on Theatre Tribe and focus my energy in a new direction. Building Theatre Tribe and connecting with our Tribers and their families has been a genuine highlight of my life. And knowing, whether our Tribers have forged careers in the arts or simply enjoyed it as a fun hobby, that a little piece of Theatre Tribe lives with them gives me eternal pride. Equally, what I’ve learnt from the youngsters who’ve performed in our shows, the families who’ve supported us, and the gorgeous colleagues I’ve worked with, is immeasurable.

To my fellow Tribe Leaders, venue teams, technicians, West End Q&A guests, script printers, costume and prop providers, work experience students, supporters and beyond – THANK YOU. You've been immense and I will dearly miss our coming together in the name of staging phenomenal youth theatre.

Please know I am always available to offer drama training advice to help our Triber alumni in navigating the world of musical theatre. Or if you just wish to connect and say hi that would be joyful too… don’t be a stranger!

Obviously this is all tinged with sadness but for now I’m just grateful for all the good crazy times and the amazing memories we have made together over the last 14 years. It truly has been a beautiful journey - one I will cherish and hold in my heart forever.

What a beautiful end to TT Paris 2024! The final show was a total smash and our Tribers blew the roof off HTC in Maisons Laffitte with their phenomenal performances. JOY! Brava to each and every one of them for working so super hard throughout rehearsals and on showday. As always, it takes a village, so huge thanks to the dreamy David Fallon for co-starring as Tribe Leader and to the glorious Cat for her lighting fabulousness. As one of our Tribers commented, 'it looks sooooo beautiful' 🩵🌟 Job done! Thank you also to Charlotte and Jenni at HTC for their kindness and hospitality. It's been wonderful wonderful wonderful, and we couldn't have asked for a better finale to TT 2024. Moule Frites, bubbles, good company and a full heart were order of the evening to celebrate 😘✨

So much excitements for todaaaaay!! Not only is it our last day of rehearsing and fully blocking the show, but it's West End Q&A day. Woop woop! And in keeping with the '& Juliet' theme, we are beyond thrilled to be welcoming to the room via a live link Zoom call... Grace Mouat!!! Not only has Grace wowed the West End in '& Juliet' and 'Six' among others, but she's currently starring in 'Mean Girls' at the Savoy Theatre. Can't wait to see her online shortly! 👑

TT Paris 2024 is going faaaaaabulously! Our Tribers are working super hard and we're burning through our staging like beasts. Brava to all for everyone's commitment 👏 Tomorrow is the last day of official rehearsals and then Saturday is show day, woop woop! But before then it's theatre transformation time and setting up theatre lights brought over especially from the UK to create that showbiz magic courtesy of Trafalgar Lighting and our lighting queen, Cat. Plus, we can't forget about a special live link with a stunning West End Wendy in the afternoon ✨ Who, you ask?? To be revealed, dears. EXCITEMENTS!!

Ps can you believe the TT team squeezed in some evening visits around gay Paree. Naturally! :)

When your morning walk to get breakfast takes you past this stunner of a Chateau you know TT HQ can only be getting ready for one thing and one thing alone... TT Paris 2024!!! Yes Tribers, we are back in France and are fired up for an amazing 5 days rehearsing our Paris based Tribers into a phenomenal show inspired by '& Juliet'. It's going to be wild! Roll on rehearsals... and our daily stroll past the Chateau de Maisons :)

Well THAT is what we call an afternoon well spent... a visit from the gorgeous Grace Mouat who answered all of our questions on her career and experience in 'Mean Girls', took us through a fabulous acting exercise and watched a run of our student's show. It was phenomenal and we're so grateful she took the time out of her busy schedule to come and visit us - thank you Grace! The fun doesn't end there as today is SHOWDAY! We'll be working hard putting the show into the new Central London theatre space, getting the lighting nailed, cleaning the show and then doing our dress rehearsal. And then... showtime! Brava to all of our Tribers who have been working so hard this week. We really can't wait to get you up on that stage where you belong :)

What an insanely stunning afternoon we enjoyed with glorious West End goddess, Jaz Terry. Thanks so much to her for putting our Tribers through their paces and making it such a special afternoon - truly a brill time. Thursday means even more West End star guest fun. And boy have we got a guest for you... it is with great excitements we are thrilled to announce we are welcoming to the room the amaze and awesome Original West End cast member of 'Mean Girls', Grace Mouat!!! Grace is totes on fire having been in 'Six', 'Legally Blonde' and now 'Mean Girls' at the Savoy playing the iconic Karen. Our Tribers litch can't wait to meet her. Roll on this afternoon! :)

Wow, what an incredible (and hot!) few days rehearsing our 'Mean Girls' inspired production... and it's about to get even hotter with a visit from the stunning Jaz Terry, of '& Juliet' fame, who'll be putting our Tribers through their paces staging one of the numbers in our show. We can't wait to welcome her into the room... it'll be so fetch! Woop! :)

TT HQ (en route to West End Woofs) siddled past the Savoy Theatre on Saturday so of course we had to take a snap in honour of next week's amazing 13-18 year old Advanced West End course inspired by the triumph that is 'Mean Girls'. Can't wait to get cracking!!

Fab fab fab time in Cambridge... we're all having a total ball! So much work done and it's already looking stunning. Much more to come though, PLUS it's West End Q&A day!! We are completely thrilled to be welcoming back into the hot seat West End Wendy, John Addison, to share his West End experience and career with our Tribers. Excitements! Roll on day 4! :)

** Halfway through TT Summer '24!

Hello Theatre Tribers!

What an incredible couple of weeks we've enjoyed with our Tribers. We are two courses down and two to go... and we're having a ball. So far we've worked on shows inspired by 'Mamma Mia!' and 'School of Rock', with another 'School of Rock' and a 'Mean Girls' themed production coming up. Each course has had visits from amazing West End pros including Aimee Hodnett from 'Wicked' and John Addison of 'School of Rock' (pictured). It's been a blast and the final shows have been superb - well done to all involved.

Good news for any Tribers yet to book... we still have a handful of places left for our 13-18 year old advanced programme in London w/c 12th August inspired by 'Mean Girls', so if you're looking for more TT fun with extra guests, a dedicated musical director, longer hours and an even more intense but fun rehearsal period... we are defo the place to be for that authentic West End musical experience.

Also, we wanted to relay we only have ONE space available for our TT Paris course in October... jump on it if you're keen.

In the meantime, wishing you all a brilliant Summer holibobs. Roll on rehearsals in Cambridge next week!
