Tips for writing:
1. Read the task carefully!
2. Who are you writing to, and what do they need to know to continue the patient's care?
3. Read the notes - what information is relevant.
4. Summarise the selected information - you're not writing an essay or a novel, it's a concise and informative letter.
5. Use SBAR: situation, background, assessment, recommendation
6. The word count is there for a reason!
