The children at our Sydenham Hill site have enjoyed learning all about different types of dinosaurs!
They listened to dino stories and took part in some dino-tastic activities to help further their knowledge, understanding and vocabulary!

🌳Animal themed activities🌳
This month the children have enjoyed exploring lots of animal themed activities across our sites.
Lots of these activities were linked to some of their favourite stories and the children were eager to learn about all kinds of creatures, great and small!

🐝World Bee Day🐝
Our Sydenham Hill children had a wonderful day learning all about bees and mini beasts! They planted sunflower seeds, took part in a bee hunt and made some beautiful artwork🐝

Today our Twin Oaks children are celebrating ‘World Bee Day’! They have lots of yellow, bee themed activities ready for them to explore whilst learning about why bees are so important to us and the environment! Some children even dressed up!

🌳Mindfulness Mondays🌳
Join our Mindfulness & Dance teacher ‘Reiss’ as she visits all three of our sites to host our weekly sessions!
Reiss has been part of the Lammas Green Team for many years, providing weekly dance and mindfulness sessions as well as working full time as an early years educator between 2022-2024!

🌳Mothers Day Celebrations🌳
Last week we welcomed lots of lovely Mums to our Hornimans and Twin Oaks settings. They enjoyed sharing a Mother’s day breakfast with their children and taking part in lots of lovely activities planned out by our team. Thank you all for joining us.

🌳’Handa’s Surprise’🌳
This week the Sydenham Hill children have enjoyed taking part in activities based on some of their favourite books.
Linking to the story of ‘Handa’s surprise’ the children were able to explore a story sack which included the book and different characters/props, allowing them to reenact the story themselves.
They also had the opportunity to use the safety knives under the supervision of their teachers and helped to cut up their own fruit for snack time!

The children have all enjoyed learning about and celebrating Chinese New Year across all three of our sites!
