TEF OFFICIALS MEET MINISTER PETER OGWANG IN LONDON

On Tuesday 25/11/2025, a delegation from Teso Education Fund (TEF) held a meeting with Hon Peter Ogwang, Minister of State for Education and Sports, in charge of Sports, Government of Uganda.

The meeting which was held in London at the request of the minister discussed a range of issues pertaining to improving education in Teso and the general development of the sub region.

The meeting was attended by the Dr Patrick Igulot, Executive Director of TEF, incoming chairman of TEF, Mr Murtaza Bharmal, Mr Leonard Opolot Ogulit, outgoing chairman of TEF, among others.

The meeting noted the need for a global meeting of the Iteso to promote unity and development in the sub region.

TEF 5TH CHARITY ANNIVERSARY DINNER AND DANCE

The board of trustees and management of Teso Education Fund (TEF), a UK registered charity 1196225 cordially invites you to join them in a dinner and dance to celebrate the charity’s 5th anniversary.

Date: Saturday 22 November 2025. Venue: Beckton Community Centre. 14, East Ham Manor Way, London E6 5NG.

Standard tickets cost £40. Tickets for children 11-20 years cos £20. Entrance for children below 11 years is free. A table of 10 people is £400.

On Wednesday 17th September 2025, our Executive Director, Dr Patrick Igulot and Charity Manager, Florence L. Oree attended an event to mark International Literacy Month. The event was organised by Rotary International and was held at the Church of Scientology, London. Our team made a presentation of TEFUK.ORG scholarship programme which captivated the audience.

TEF SCHOLARSHIP ANNOUNCEMENT

Teso Education Fund (TEF) invites applications from young people from Teso who wish to be entered into a database of individuals looking for scholarships.

Applications are invited from individuals interested in studying professional certificate, diploma or degree courses in any discipline and institution of higher or vocational education in Uganda in the academic year 2025 and 2026.

This database will be put on the website of TEF; therefore, by submitting an application, you consent to personal information about you being published on the TEF website and other TEF media platforms.

There are 2 scholarship schemes – TEF General Scholarship and TEF-UTAMU Shared Scholarship.

For those who are interested in studying at Uganda Technology and Management University (UTAMU) under the shared scholarship scheme, these are the eligible courses.
1. BSc in Computer Science
2. BSc in Accounting and Finance

Before you start your application, have the following items ready to upload:
1. A brief statement why you need a scholarship; the statement should be less than 300 words or less than half a page.
2. Admission letter, if you have.
3. Photo of yourself in JPEG or PNG format only.
