The School Enterprise Challenge is a FREE educational programme that teaches business and life skills. From coming up with your own business idea to writing a business plan and actually launching your school business, we’ll support you the whole way! Students gain business knowledge and apply it in a practical way whilst also developing essential life skills such as communication, teamwork, problem-solving and leadership. Teachers also gain business knowledge and get the chance to develop experiential learning techniques. The profit you generate is for you to keep and spend how you like. We also have $50,000 worth of prizes available for the best school businesses. All schools which complete the 3 steps will receive an official certificate to recognise their achievements. Can your students sum up their business idea in just two sentences? 🎤

The Elevator Pitch mini-competition is live now for all School Enterprise Challenge teams. It only takes one short recording session, no extra prep required.

To be eligible to win, teams need to complete Milestone 3 (Business Idea) by 6 October. Every entry receives a certificate and badge, and the best pitches will be featured on our social media.

🌟 Meet our Student of the Month, Jairo Andrés Estepa Cortés!
Jairo, 17, is from IED Luis Alfonso Valbuena Ulloa in Colombia. He studies Barista Services while running his own coffee business. He designed his brand's identity, built its social media presence, trained in coffee tasting and multiple brewing methods, and his work was featured on national television.
This month's recognition really belongs to one school's coffee programme, seen from two ends, a teacher building something real with her students, and a student taking it even further on his own. Registrations for this year's School Enterprise Challenge are still open, but the Business Idea deadline is 6 October, so now's the time to sign up.

🏆 Meet our Teacher of the Month, Maria Isabel Pinzón Marín!
Maria Isabel teaches Agriculture and Entrepreneurship at IED Luis Alfonso Valbuena Ulloa in Colombia. Through her project "School and Coffee," her students learn every stage of coffee production, from the soil to the cup, connecting it to maths, language, science, and business. Her students built two of their own brands, Lavuaroma and Té Aroma, and have sold their products at five fairs, reaching more than 300 people.

This is the kind of thing your own students could be building towards too. Registrations for this year's School Enterprise Challenge are still open, but the Business Idea deadline is 6 October, so now's the time to sign up.
