Minimum age 18 years
Learners must be conversant with the relevant wiring regulations, and initial verification and commissioning. This can be demonstrated by the learner holding relevant qualifications in BS 7671, and inspection and testing. Learners must have the minimum levels of literacy and numeracy to complete the learning outcomes and assessments.

Short description:
This award gives the learner an understanding of the application of the IET Code of Practice for Electric Vehicle Charging Equipment Installation. It provides a facility for individuals working in the electrotechnical sector to develop their understanding of the installation of electric vehicle (EV).

Anyone can do this course and work individually or with a company however previous electrical knowledge is encouraged.

Short description:
This level 3 award follows the industry recognized IET code of practice published by the IET. It allows the individuals to develop or enhance their knowledge and skills so they can inspect electrical equipment which is ‘in-service’.

This is an industry-recognized level 3 award developed in conjunction with EIT, NICEIC, and ECA.
Suited for people already associated with the electrotechnical industry having minimum DEI2020 qualification.
Guided learning hours: 45 hours
1 day/week for 6 weeks or 3 weekends depending on the candidates' needs. ( 9:00 to 17:00 )
