For our third session, Emma Nadol, Project Lead for Service Design at the Swiss Centre for Design and Health AG, returned to the Gorvy lecture theatre to deliver her talk, “Untangle, finding your way in (and out of) service design.”

As a graduate of this very programme, Emma used real-world healthcare case studies to show our cohort what on-the-ground service design looks like when designing the physical environments in healthcare settings. She was also honest about the wrong turns and career navigation along the way until she found. She gave us invaluable advice and two essential takeaways to carry straight into the upcoming job market.

Huge thanks to Emma for coming back to share such a refreshing, practical, and incredibly reassuring perspective on navigating our design careers!

For the prototyping workshop, we had a hands-on session with Viktor and Jane.

Working in teams, we explored how to dynamically use prototypes across different stages of a project, from brainstorming and ideating to active testing.
It was a fantastic experience that gave everyone practical tools and inspiration to push their Independent Research Projects (IRP) forward.

Thank you, and , for an incredible session!
