SDA is built on the vision of our founder and lead coach Katrina. This vision is delivered by the wonderful team of coaches SDA have working with us.

Our coaches are committed to delivering excellent 1-2-1 and group sessions for all of our students across many speech and drama subjects 🎭 Their passion for teaching and passing on their knowledge and expertise is integral to our philosophy which is to inspire, motivate and encourage the next generation.

As a thank you to our coaches, Katrina has dropped off some Easter goodies 🐣 for the team to enjoy over the bank holiday weekend.

All of our classes will operate up until Saturday 18:30 BST. We are closed on Sunday and Monday and classes will begin again Tuesday 19th April.

Every new actor has to read this book❗️

Audition was written over 30 years ago, by Broadway casting director Michael Shurtleff. The book still remains a top resource on acting and the audition process and is laid out in a 12 step guide. The book is full of insights into the casting director’s thoughts, as well as valuable advice for playing out scenes and expanding on roles as an actor.

Studying books on acting will help you improve your skills as an actor after all when it comes to acting, the test is an audition📚
