When did you last climb a tree? 🌲
Inversion therapy is also known as spinal traction, with the act of being upside down easing the pressure of gravity on our nerves and the disks of the spine. This temporarily creates more space between the vertebrae that are pressed together all day everyday and makes me feel as though I'm walking on air!
Directing more blood flow to the head also allows more oxygen to reach the brain, naturally improving brain function. Encouraging circulation to the upper body also helps to flush out toxins and improve overall circulatory health, whilst stabilising the mood and improving mental health conditions such as anxiety and depression. So long as your head is positioned lower than your heart you can experience these benefits.
Apart from spinal twists gloriously strengthening and lengthening the muscles which protect the spine, they also help to alleviate back pain and tension whilst improving posture and alignment. I feel as though I've woken up on a sunny Sunday morning everytime I've enjoyed a sweet twist.
This gentle rotational movement through the torso softly squeezes and massages the digestive organs, thereby helping waste products of digestion to move down through the system and wring out toxins from our organs so that they may better perform their functions. The results? A healthier, happier, calmer and more balanced you - and it's pretty fun too!

Many people ask me how I'm able to work so enthusiastically, with endless motivation and a drive to succeed. The answer is passion; when we work on something that we feel passionate about, it doesn't feel like "work" at all, as it flows freely within us.
We've become so accustomed to working for the sake of paying bills, rather than seeking fulfilment in our career choices. Making the switch to a life that holds purpose and meaning is the most uplifting way to change your existence.
When we listen to our gut, hear our soul and recognise what motivates us, we may take conscious steps towards the life that is destined for us. If you find yourself dreading Monday mornings, fretting over deadlines and a sinking feeling in your stomach everytime you walk into work, please recognise that it doesn't have to be this way.
Seek out a career that your genuinely love. Look around, start a side project and develop new skills. You never know just how beautiful life can be until you try 💫
What motivates you most about your career choice? 🙏🏼

Todays dinner was a vegan veggie cous cous with a garnish of bean sprouts 🌱
Bean sprouts are a nutritional powerhouse, offering low calories and a wealth of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and fiber. They are rich in vitamins C and K, folate, protein and minerals such as iron, magnesium and potassium.
Bean sprouts also contain plant-based protein and help to support gut and heart health, blood sugar control and reduce high blood pressure.
I like to keep a bag of bean sprouts in my fridge and add a pinch as a garnish to meals. When did you last get your sprouts out? And what's your favourite dish to enjoy them? 💚

Do you enjoy Snail Pose? 🐌
This yoga pose beautifully stretches the spine to create space between the vertebrae, providing an influx of oxygen to the spine and increasing the prana in the body.
This helps to make the muscles surrounding the spine more flexible whilst releasing tension in the back, as well as counteracting bad posture and relieving backache.
The effect that it has on the deeper muscles, tissues, ligaments and fascia is incredible. You can connect deeply with your breath here while holding the posture for longer, which opens up the channels that are blocked, deepening to reach out to the fascia connecting tissues and activating the parasympathetic nervous system to ultimately calm the mind.
Accumulated stress and tension are released, keeping the muscles of the spine, abdomen, hips, legs and pelvis stimulated and active. This pose also provides an internal massage to the abdominal organs, increasing their efficiency, improving digestive system function and leaving you feeling light and energised throughout the day.
Snail Pose effortlessly reverses the effects of gravity, thus relieving pressure on the colon. The blood supply from the legs is directed towards the pelvic floor which increases the efficiency of organs, and with regular practice, helps to relieve chronic constipation and hemorrhoids.
This pose provides an intense throat lock for the thyroid gland which regulates the metabolism, thereby boosting a sluggish metabolism as well as providing a deep release to the shoulder joint, biceps and triceps. It releases all tension knots that accumulate in the upper back and feels like the most wholesome release and stretch for the entire back muscles which I personally love.
When did you last focus on your spine? 🧘♀️
