Sleep is the time for restoration and for children's bodies to recharge and retain the information they have learned throughout the day. 👀💤
During deep non-REM sleep, the body's energy is restored, growth and repair occurs and important brain development hormones are released.🧠

There are lots of possible reasons for difficult behaviour in toddlers and young children.👀
Often it's just because they're tired, hungry, overexcited, frustrated or bored.🤪
If problem behaviour is causing you or your child distress, or upsetting the rest of the family, it's important to deal with it.🫶

Why is painting so valuable to our little ones?
Painting is a way for children to do many important things: convey ideas, express emotion, use their senses, explore color, explore process and outcomes, and create aesthetically pleasing works and experiences.🎨
It not only helps their creative development but it also stimulates their brain.🧠

This ones for all our amazing and hardworking parents!💖
The road of parenthood is always worth traveling down. Nothing will inspire a parent to try harder and do better than a single look at their child. Even in the darkest days, try to remember that the days are long, but the years are short. Make memories today so they will cherish them when they are grown.

Did you know...
Comfort objects help little ones self-soothe when their parents are not around, give them a feeling of safety when they go to unfamiliar places, and become companions to share their experiences with.🐻
Objects can become imbued with special meaning for children. In psychology, they are called transitional objects or comfort objects: they provide comfort as the child gradually transitions from dependence on parental figures to independence.🦁

Is your child constantly talking and dreaming about being outside?⚽️
There's probably a reason for that...
Playing outdoors allows children to develop self-confidence, independence and self-esteem. 🥰
They also become aware of limits, boundaries and challenge in their play. When children are used to playing outdoors, they are more likely to: try new activities. 👩🏼👧🏼

Dinosaurs teach children about nature, different landscapes, and the importance of a sustainable environment. 🦖
Studying dinosaurs has played a key role in developing evolutionary theory and other scientific concepts, such as plate tectonics and biogeography. 🦕
All of these pursuits arise as a result of humanity's innate curiosity to investigate how our world works and where we fit within the natural world we see around us.👀

Children are effective communicators and through the creative arts, children learn to make meaning and freely express their thoughts, ideas and feelings. ☁️✨
Drawing also acts as a powerful way for caregivers to understand how a child is feeling. 🥰
