I get asked this question so much!

What age is best to start to bring baby to classes? The answer is… when YOU'RE ready!

That might literally be a matter of days after your baby is born, or it might be a few months. You’ll know when the time is right.

And when it is, we’ll be ready to welcome you - just as you are, and whatever mood your baby is in that day.

We have classes suitable from birth, and they are a safe space to come and be yourself, spend time with others who have babies of a similar age, and enjoying time away from the distractions of home with your new little one.

💙 Having a baby opens up a whole world of new experiences, but can also be a very isolating when you are thrown into that world without an instruction manual or support network. Making connections with people that understand what you are going through can therefore, be vital for your well-being.

🧡 Attending a class with your baby is a great way to meet people in a similar situation and who understand and "get it" when you share the challenges and joys that come with this stage of your lives.

💙 At Tots Play we really understand the importance of having a support network of mummy friends, and our small class sizes and personal approach are designed to help facilitate these friendships. Our courses for newborns are restricted to just 10 families to ensure everyone has the chance to get to know each other over the weeks of the course, and many of our groups continue their journey together through our Discovery, Social and Action Tots classes.

There are so many reasons I love what I do - a big reason being that I LOVE working with babies and children and watching them develop over the weeks, months and years that they are with us.

I'm extremely passionate about the importance of the early years of a child's life and this is why Tots Play is so special to me.

It is not just a place where you and your Baby or Toddler can come along and share precious memories, but it’s a place where you can learn about what to do with your little one to enhance their development and give them the best start to life.

Are classes are not just about keeping your little one entertained (although they’ll do that too!)😃😂 but provide a foundation for them that’s educational too, and that is something which I feel, makes Tots Play extremely unique and special 💙🧡

Do you wonder why we include such a wide variety of activities in our Tots Play classes? The reason is that young children learn best when they are using their whole body and all of their senses, and having varied opportunities for play is the most effective way to help them on this journey of development!

To make the most of this, all our class activities are carefully designed to not only encourage use of all of the senses, but also learning and development across the seven areas of learning set out in the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
