This week was” Story telling week”📚
We read different stories during Story time such as “The Tiger who came to tea”, “We’re going on a bear hunt“ and ”Goldilocks“. We also done many different activities that allowed the children to reenact the stories.📕📝

Learning about arctic animals!
We spoke about different arctic animals throughout this week such as polar bears, penguins and etc. Children then got to create the different animals that we spoke about.🐧🐻❄️❄️

The topic of this week is Winter!
Children did different winter related activities such as creating their own snowflakes and igloos using sugar cubes as imaginary ice cubes. They also explored a messy play activity that included different Antarctic animals expanding their vocabulary such as penguins, polar bears and seals. 🐧🦭

Getting ready for Christmas!
Its the first week of December and children had fun decorating the Christmas trees and started doing Christmas fun activities that they will doing throughout the whole month of December.🎄☃️

This week we learnt about Space!
We spoke about rockets, planets, astronauts and aliens. Children got to read different space themed books such as 'Zoom rocket zoom' and 'Winnie in space". They also got to do Art and craft activities where they created their own telescopes and decorated their own moon's.👽👩🚀🔭

The topic of "Road Safety"!
We spoke about the importance of road safety and we have done different activities to help the children understand the importance of it . We set up road safety tuff trays to allow them to explore and learn about new experiences through play. Children have done art and craft activities where they create their own traffic lights to understand what the 3 different colours mean, red meaning 'stop', yellow meaning 'slow done' and green meaning 'go'. Children learnt about the inventor of the Traffic lights Gary Morgan. Children have also got to create their own zebra crossings to understand that when they see a zebra crossing the car should wait and allow them to cross. The children got to see these signs on are daily walks out to the park.🚙🚦🛣
