Just got back from Paros, where my 300hr Advanced Vinyasa teacher training started with a 2 week immersion. Here with the same teachers who first inspired me to teach β alongside a close friend & teacher I deeply admire and a beautiful community of fellow teachers
Five years ago, I was here to embark on my first yoga teacher training, never imagining how much that experience would shape the years that followed.
Coming back feels a little surreal. But also familiar- the sea, the food, the early morning sunrises, the walks with slow sunsets, and the waves in between all make such a beautiful contrast to the intensity of the training- daily two hours of practice, the deeper dives into yoga philosophy and spending time exploring the ancient yogic texts. Itβs demanding, both physically and mentally, but also incredibly rewarding.
Thereβs something special about returning to a place where a chapter began, and seeing it all through different eyes.
So much has changed. Iβve changed. But the curiosity, the love for the practice, and the desire to keep learning are still here.
Grateful for my teachers who continue to guide me, the people I get to share this experience with, and for a journey that continues to unfold.
Back where it all began. Still learning. Still a student. Still finding my way πβοΈπ§ββοΈπ§Ώπ
