This is the last video.

Here we take the options you came up with in the last video and convert those to actions.

I help you give your actions due dates and check them to see if they are too big, or too much to do.

I also talk a little about SMART goals and how we have gone about designing them.

If you feel someone might benefit from these vids, forward them on.
If you have any questions, ask
Drop a comment with feedback
and contact me if you need help.

All the best and take it easy.

In this video we have a brainstorming session to get some ideas of what you can do to get closer to your chosen goal.
I will ask a series of questions, pause between questions if you need to write things down.
The idea is to come up with at least 5 things you can do to get closer to your goal and to see if we can find something you haven't seen before, something that excites you and makes you want to do the actions to get closer to the goal.

Let me know if these are useful.

Ask questions about these videos, comment and let me know how I could make them more useful.

In part 1, we looked at all the aspects of your business which are important to you. We listed them out and decided on a long term goal. We ranked out of 10 depending on where they are now. This is already a great tool to use to get an overview of your business - update this every week or month to help you stay on top of things.

In this video we choose ONE area of business which we want to improve. The idea is to move this area up by 1 rating point, this way, moving 1 notch closer to 10/10. We will create a goal which is specific and has an end date.

We look at the reality of this goal. Where are you now? what are the obstacles? what are you in control of, and so on.

At the end of this video, you should have a good understanding of where you currently are and what needs to be done to move this topic area forward.

Let me know how this is going, and please share this with anyone who you think might need a strategy session.

This is the big fat business breakdown - a method which helps you to look at your business, identify long term goals, compare that with where you are now, design short term goals, keep things small and do-able and improve your business in small steps.

In this video I help you look at all the aspects of your business which are important like marketing, income (this list is yours) etc. We will specify long term goals (what does 10/10 look like) and rate where you are with these aspects of your business now.

This will give you an overview of your business.

In the next video, we will take one of the aspects of your video and create a a goal that you can complete in 2 weeks.

I can't add reviews to my own facebook business page, but here is one that I got from one of the students at the coaching academy:

Jacqueโ€™s coaching approach has pushed me to my limits. He has challenged me enough to make changes and grow my relationship with my son. He made me realise how simply it is to include positive changes to my life.
I would recommend Jacque to anyone who wants to be challenged and is ready for positive change.

I recently helped a client take a "bird's eye view" of her business..

I call it the "big business breakdown" and it's a really good way to look at all the parts of your business, decide on what 10/10 looks like and decide where you think you are now.

During the course of our session, she realised that she could save several hours a week by delegating some of the work she was doing to someone she already had on the payroll.

What parts of your business need to be looked at?
what could you do to improve certain aspects of your business and get it one step closer to 10/10?

I am considering doing a video post on the "Big FAT business breakdown" - let me know if this would help you.

Happy Wednesday everyone!

It's usually a good idea to get a new perspective on things.

This is Truleigh hill, leading to Devil's D**e and just outside Brighton. I took this image from my paraglider at 600m on Friday 05/8/2023, the day before storm Antoni was due to hit. The second storm to hit the UK in 5 days.

Isn't it beautiful?

Open questions are WAY more powerful than closed questions. Open questions make a person go "into" their mind and find the answer. Closed questions can be answered with minimal effort and with a single word.

If you aren't getting anywhere with someone - try an open question.

P.S. Don't ask why - it's too critical and risks making things worse.

Today is national Avocado day in the UK.

Actors Tom Selleck and Jamie Foxx have both added โ€˜avocado farmerโ€™ to their already impressive CVโ€™s.
