Learning, creating… and bringing ideas to life ✨
I recently attended a mosaic workshop—and created the KraftGurus logo in an entirely new medium.
It reminded me of something important:
when we step into a workshop, we’re not just making art—we’re slowing down, learning deeply, and reconnecting with creativity.
That’s exactly the experience I want to create through KraftGurus.
And I’m so excited to share that our next Madhubani Painting workshop is on 22 June. It is an Paint and Sip collaboration with Bromley.
Madhubani is a beautiful Indian art form rooted in storytelling, symbolism, and nature—traditionally practised for generations and still alive today.
In this workshop, you’ll:
✨ Learn the foundations of Madhubani painting
✨ Explore its cultural meaning and motifs
✨ Create your own artwork—no experience needed
✨ Be part of a warm, creative community
Whether you’re an art lover, a complete beginner, or simply looking to slow down and do something meaningful, this space is for you.

What makes an artform stay alive?
Many art traditions around the world survive primarily through preservation. What fascinates me about Madhubani is that it survives through participation.
Artists continue to paint.
Communities continue to sing.
Stories continue to evolve.
This is one reason India is the world's oldest living civilisation.
Its artistic traditions are not merely displayed.
They are lived.
At KraftGurus, our workshops invite people to engage with these traditions through creativity, storytelling and community.
Because cultural heritage stays alive when people participate in it.

Did you know luxury can taste handmade too? ✨
This mocktail is something I made myself using:
🍒 Kokam — a beautiful sweet and sour berry from India’s Konkan coast
🌿 Homegrown mint
🍋 Fresh lemongrass
And honestly… this is what I love most about Indian aesthetics 💛
The richness of flavour.
The attention to detail.
The beauty of things made slowly, thoughtfully, by hand.
At KraftGurus, that same philosophy flows into our workshops too 🎨
Through Madhubani painting, storytelling, and mindful creativity, we celebrate the beauty of as a full sensory experience — not just art on a wall, but culture you can feel, taste, hear, and connect with ✨
If that sounds like your kind of evening, join us on 22 June for our Madhubani workshop at Pedro Lounge, Bromley 🌿🍷

One is discipline.
