A lovely testimonial from Caroline who was applying for jobs using her French skills and wanted to brush up before her interviews.
We did a mixture of lessons in South Woodford and online using Skype.

Hello and Bonjour !

Learning languages is my passion and I would love to share this with you.

I teach French to people of all ages, both online (using Skype, Zoom or Google) and in person (East London / West Essex - please take a look at my service areas).

I am completely bilingual English / French and have lived in both England and France and taught English and French as a foreign language to individuals and groups in both countries. I also have a language degree, a business communications degree, DALF C2 certification and I am raising two children bilingually.
In addition to teaching languages, I run a boutique language services agency, offering translation and subtitling, amongst other language services.

I tailor my French lessons to each person, or group's, individual needs and interests and I always like to know from the outset whether there are any goals to keep in mind - whether that is to succeed at GCSEs or to build up the courage to ask for a baguette in a boulangerie!

-> For children, I teach through games and stories and do exercises with them to help them commit the vocabulary to memory.
-> For GCSE & A-Level students I follow the syllabus, try to tailor it to their interests and help to build their confidence, especially for oral exams.
-> For corporate lessons, I find out if there are any work-related needs and we also work on current affairs and discussions around these, with the aid of videos or news articles and then I prepare exercises based on these.

Thanks for reading and please comment below if you have any questions or comments :D
