This is my summary of almost 3 weeks of Pain Management - perhaps I would add "learn" in front of the words"to live".

The program so far has been a rollercoaster of emotions. You are constantly "confronted" with them while concurrently learning how to cohabit with them 🫣😒

I know...I know it sounds like torture and in a way it was and is, but only because I'm not used to it!

If you've followed this page or read some of the posts you've probably noticed my reluctance in sharing too many details about my personal life...
These 3 weeks have forced me to be vulnerable, open, aware, connected, empathetic and so much more...

I guess the million pounds question is "Was it worth it?"

My answer: Yes! This experience has empowered me, connected me with others that understand my "kind of pain", and opened me up to the possibilities in my future.
Having a meaningful life is now my goal and I intend to live every single minute of it under the wing of the almighty Father!

I will share more content on Pain Management so watch this space if you are interested.

Let's catch up a little...

The last couple of years have been hard for almost everyone...

On a personal note, since my Fibromyalgia diagnosis, I feel like God has been cementing some truth into my life, restructuring my priorities, and shifting my focus to Him...

I'm sharing some of the lessons I'm learning to implement daily and I pray that they bless you and remind you of who you are in Christ!

Sharing my Lessons with you all means a lot to me as I'm still on the journey, learning, and backsliding but also I'm making progress, growing becoming more accountable and aware.

I have a few plans for this year - God willing - that I'll share with you as we go along...the most recent one and the one I'm most excited to tell you about is my newfound passion: Positive Psychology!

I'll do a separate post on this but what I truly love so far about this fairly recent science, is its focus on well-being and happiness, on what makes us happy and how we can sustain it - more in future posts.

I am so sorry I have been AWOL..let's just say that I have been in some sort of "hibernation period", trying to emerge like a butterfly or a fat bear in the spring...

What will you do with the time God has gifted you?

Life is not unlimited but we seems to often behave as if we have all the time in the world..can you relate?

Have you ever sat down to think about your time on this earth?

We often measure our lives by our ability to get and keep a job, get married, have children, afford expensive things..I can't help but wonder if as Christians we should perhaps use a different standard?

I often wonder if my time glorifies God for example - will He welcome me into heaven and say "well done"?

If you ever wonder the same, here's my prayer for all of us today: "Teach us to realize the brevity of life, so that we may grow in wisdom." Psalms 90:12 NLT
