π Do You See Me?
Learning Disability Week 2026 (15β21 June) is all about ensuring people with learning disabilities are seen, heard, included and valued.
Despite progress, many people with learning disabilities continue to face barriers to employment, healthcare and community participation. This year's theme, "Do You See Me?", encourages us all to challenge those barriers and create a more inclusive society.
At CareTutor, we explore why Learning Disability Week matters and how health and social care professionals can make a positive difference through person-centred support.

π’ Join us for a FREE live webinar hosted by CareTutor and Devonshires Solicitors: From Training to Practice - Embedding Learning in Adult Social Care
Training doesn't end when a course is completed. But how do providers ensure learning is embedded into everyday practice and leads to safer, better outcomes?
In this practical webinar, Devonshires Solicitors will explore the regulatory, safeguarding and operational risks that can arise when training is treated as a one-off exercise, including what providers should have in place to demonstrate evidence of embedded learning. CareTutor will focus on how supervision, reflective learning, refreshers and practical team-based approaches such as TeamTalk, our short facilitator-led reflective learning sessions, can help embed knowledge and support safer day-to-day care.
Topics we'll cover:
β
What effective training looks like in practice
β
How to reinforce learning beyond initial course completion
β
The role of supervision, reflection and refresher learning
β
Why evidence of learning and oversight matters
β
Practical steps to strengthen assurance and reduce organisational risk

Carers Week 2026 is here!π
Carers Week (8β14 June) is an annual campaign that shines a spotlight on the millions of unpaid carers across the UK who provide essential support to family members, friends and loved ones π₯. This year's theme, "Building Carer Friendly Communities," focuses on creating environments where carers are recognised, valued and supported to balance their caring responsibilities with their own wellbeing.
At CareTutor, we recognise the vital contribution carers make every day and the importance of ensuring they have access to the knowledge, resources and support they need.
We've put together a blog exploring this year's theme, ways to get involved, available resources, and how communities can better support unpaid carers. π

Sometimes the biggest difference between training providers is not what is written on a features page.
π€ It is how they work with you once you become a client.
At CareTutor, our clients are not just names on an account list. They help shape what we do next. We take client feedback seriously, we build our roadmap around real sector needs, and when organisations identify gaps in learning, that input helps us decide what to prioritise.
π‘That responsiveness is one of the reasons many providers choose a specialist partner over a generic platform.
In a sector like adult social care, relevance, responsiveness and relationships still matter. And they always will.

It was great attending the Care Roadshow Midlandsπ today and speaking with so many professionals from across the care sector.
We had some interesting conversations about the learning solutions CareTutor offers, including our Teal Learning Toolkit-TeamTalk, our Skills for Care funded leadership programmes, and our feature-packed Learning Management System. π»
Events like these are always valuable because they give us the opportunity to meet people face-to-face, hear about their experiences with training and development, and better understand the real challenges services are facing. Those conversations help shape and improve the solutions we create to support the sector.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by to chat with us today. We really enjoyed meeting you all! π€

A learning platform shouldnβt stop at delivering courses. It should actively support how learning happens across your entire organisation.
β
For frontline staff, that means engaging, practical eLearning they can apply straight away.
β
For managers, itβs about having clear visibility, insight, and control.
β
For teams, itβs creating space to reflect, discuss, and improve together.
β
And for leaders, itβs access to development that strengthens decision-making and direction.
Thatβs the thinking behind Pathway.
Alongside a powerful LMS, CareTutor supports providers with funded leadership programmes, regular sector webinars, and TeamTalk - our short, facilitator-led sessions designed to help teams reflect on real practice in a meaningful way.
Because in care, learning isnβt just about ticking boxes.
Itβs about building confidence, shaping culture, and creating consistency across your service.
