"It began with one simple line"
The story behind Animals to Colour and Discover began with Giovanna and a simple line.
She starts with one line, then another, and slowly the drawing begins to grow. She follows the shapes, looks at where the lines might lead, and imagines what they could become. Little by little, animals, insects, faces and hidden shapes appear.
Because Giovanna cannot walk very much and often needs support, she spends a lot of time resting. But instead of letting those quiet moments feel empty, she creates. Her drawings keep her occupied, focused and full of ideas.
This first volume gave her something very special: hope. She saw her drawings become a real book sooner than she expected, and that moment encouraged her to keep going. Since then, she has already created even more drawings.
Now her designs are not only for her. They are here to help other children slow down, look carefully, use their imagination and tell their own stories. Each page invites children to colour, observe, discover hidden details and decide what they see.
Animals to Colour and Discover is more than a colouring book. It is a little piece of Giovanna’s imagination, shared with children who are ready to create their own.
