’s Primary and Secondary ITT trainees recently enjoyed a fantastic day of learning beyond the classroom.

Our trainees visited the UK Parliament, where they attended workshops, explored the Palace of Westminster and observed live debates from the galleries, gaining a deeper understanding of democracy and citizenship in action🏛️

Primary trainees also visited the National Gallery, exploring how art can inspire creativity and support learning across the curriculum🎨🖼️

Meanwhile, Secondary trainees headed to the Science Museum for a cross-curricular scavenger hunt, considering how educational visits can enhance subject knowledge and exploring the practicalities of organising a successful school trip🔍

These experiences offered valuable opportunities to connect theory with practice, while showcasing the many ways learning can extend beyond the school gates.
