An egg-cellent Easter themed week! Highlights included making an Easter card, a chocolate nest in cooking and an Easter basket in the hope the Easter bunny hopped into our garden 🐰. For break we had hot cross buns which were loved by all. We finished with a final hurrah of the term parading our Easter bonnet hats around Clapham Old Town and singing to our Mummies and Daddies followed by our end of term party.

A HUGE thank you to all our parents and nannies for the support this term - three cheers for The Willow and have a wonderful Easter break.

Love The Willow x

A terrific week for the letter β€˜t’. Highlights included a tortoise in our literacy books, looking at number 10 in numeracy, a tiger in craft and tabbouleh in cooking. For break we had treats including tortilla crisps and cheese twists.

Spring sprung in London this week which coincided with our topic being Spring. In craft we made a Spring picture, a blossom tree and a ladybird and then finished off with Spring finger painting in messy play.

The final highlight was a visit from Hector the tortoise a huge thank you Richard.

We have had scrumptious breaks of strawberries, sausages, strawberry jam sandwiches and even a slice of sponge cake.

Thank you so much Philippa for the wonderful tour of Eden Nature Garden this morning - the children adored it. We learnt all about the names of different flowers, new facts about wild bees and even saw frog spawn. The perfect trip to tie in with our topic Spring.

A really rather fun week at The Willow. Our letter of the week is β€˜r’ and highlights included a β€˜r’ for rabbit in our literacy books, a number rocket in numeracy, ratatouille in cooking, a robot in craft and reggae fun at the end of one morning. Breaks have been rice cakes, rich tea biscuits and raisins.

The πŸ›β€™s topic is Spring and they went on a blue sky walk to see all the new flowers and trees that are beginning to emerge and then painted a picture of a flower. The πŸ¦‹β€™s rounded up their Space topic with looking at the Uranus and then painting a picture of the cold and windy planet.
