3 MILLION CHARGES and counting!⚡️

It’s a milestone we’re incredibly proud of — but even more importantly, it’s a milestone made possible by a long-standing partnership with Heathrow and a shared focus on delivering charging where and when passengers need it.

With over 16 charging facilities and 99.8% asset availability, this is what reliable passenger charging looks like at airport scale.

An airport passenger with 8% battery behaves differently from one with 80%.

So why do airports still measure charging mainly by the number of sockets?

At 80%, a passenger keeps moving.

At 8%, they start making decisions:

→ Do I use the airport app?
→ Can I afford to keep using my phone?
→ Where can I charge?
→ Should I stop here?
→ Will I have enough battery to board?

This is why airport charging deserves more thought than simply counting sockets.

Is it fast enough? Is it reliable? Is it available when passengers need it?

Good charging keeps people connected — and helps them keep moving.

For years, charging has been treated as another passenger amenity. A nice-to-have. Something to install, then forget about.

✈️ But today’s airport experience depends on a passenger’s mobile device. Boarding passes. Flight updates. Wayfinding. Payments. Retail. Lounge access. Ground transport.

🪫 When batteries run low, the passenger experience changes.

So perhaps it’s time to stop asking:
“Do we have enough charging?”

…and start asking:
“Is our charging infrastructure actually supporting the passenger journey?”

Three million charges. One incredible partnership. ⚡

We’re proud to celebrate a major milestone with Heathrow Airport: more than 3 million passenger charges delivered across 41 upgraded ChargeBox charging stations.

This achievement shows what’s possible when existing infrastructure is transformed to meet the needs of today’s travellers.

By upgrading legacy charging points into smart, fully managed FASTPodiums, Heathrow has increased charging capacity, improved reliability and created a service passengers can depend on when staying connected matters most.

The numbers tell the story:

📈 243,382 charges in our busiest month to date
🔋 9,494 charges in a single day – our highest ever
✅ 99.8%+ service availability

Every one of those three million charges represents a passenger who could stay connected when it mattered most.
