Our number one responsibility as parents is to always work towards keeping ourselves emotionally healthy🙏🏻 - Because how we feel has everything to do with how we are able to show up as parents.

We seem to understand that learning to walk, talk, tying shoes and read take time, but we want children to learn to manage their emotions and behaviour instantly. They just can't do that. That's not how the brain works. It takes practice to learn everything including managing emotions and behaviour. They need us to coach them through and it might seem like it is never ending, but they will get there.
