🌱As an experienced teacher, I've seen first-hand the transformative power of 'yet'.
💡When your child insists they can't do something, here's some ideas you can try to help them develop a growth mindset:
✨ Add the word 'yet' to their statement to remind them that with practise and time, they can learn anything
✨ Talk about how when humans are born, we can't do most things; we have to learn
✨ Work together to think of a list of skills that they have already learned how to do
✨ Praise them for positive learning behaviour (rather than outcome) such as working hard, showing resilience and correcting mistakes
