MDS Tutoring

Hi! My name is Meghan and I have 5 years of teaching experience. I specialise in English Literature and Language tuition, with a passion for helping students of all ages and abilities succeed in education. With my years working in the classroom, I understand how each student is different and adapt my teaching to their individual needs. As well as helping students academic knowledge grow, I am also passionate about boosting their confidence as this is fundamental to their success.

Throughout my years of educating young people, I have taught 11+, KS3, GCSE and A-Level to students of varying abilities. I have vast experience in teaching students with SEN/D and EAL students with the ability to easily adapt and make the curriculum and exam board requirements accessible.

I’m an interactive and supportive tutor, using visual aids, modern technology, patience and kindness to ensure the student’s needs are met and that their learning experience is engaging, supportive and informative.

Tuition can take place virtually or in person (depending on location an additional fee may be added) and prices can be seen detailed below. My first meeting will be free of charge where the focus will be on discovering what the student needs and dropping off a paper which will give me a greater understanding and knowledge of the skills that need to be focused on and the starting point of our tutoring journey.
