How Will You Deliver Your Message? Now that you've determined the purpose of your message, identified your primary audience, and analyzed your audience's needs, it's time to select a medium for your message. You have several media options, including a group meeting, one-on-one meeting, telephone conference, text message, email message, or written memorandum. You also have a number of factors to consider in making a decision about the most appropriate medium: 1. Are you making a personal appeal to an individual or a larger audience? 2. Are you communicating a simple request or a more complex message that may require additional documents or supporting material that may persuade her? 3. Do you want to give the receiver time to consider your proposal or create a situation in which the audience feels compelled to respond immediately? 4. How would you prefer to respond to objectionsâ"on the fly" or taking time to consider those objections, collect additional evidence to support your position, and compose a reply? After considering each of these factors, you determine that you are directing your appeal to an individual (Tina Bagley), and your persuasive message will be complex. Additionally, considering the complexity of your appeal, you want to give Tina adequate time to carefully consider your appeal, and you would prefer taking time to review objections before responding. Given these considerations, which of the following would be the most appropriate medium for your message? Select an option from the choices below and click Submit. Organization theorists have defined organizational effectiveness (OE) in various ways. OE has been described in terms of objectives Georgopolous & Tannenbaum (1957), goals by Etzioni (1960), efficiency Katz & Kahn (1966), resources acquisition Yuchtman & Seashore (1967), employee satisfaction Cummings, (1977), interdependence (Pfeffer, 1977), and organizational vitality (C**t, 1995). As (Coulter, 2002) remarked, there is little consensus on how to conceptualize, measure, or explain OE. This should, however, not come as a surprise to us since OE models are essentially value-based classification of the construct (the values being those of the researchers) and the potential number of models that can be generated by researchers is virtually limitless. Researchers are now moving away from a single model and are taking contingency approaches to conceptualizing OE Cameron (1996); Wernerfelt (1998); Yetley (2001). However, they are still limiting themselves to examining the impact of the dominant constituencies served and the organizationâs life cycle on OE instead of taking a broader, more dynamic approach (Dahl et al, 2001, p. 25).

Business research has an inherent value to the extent that it helps management make better decisions. Interesting information about consumers, employees, or competitors might be pleasant to have, but its value is limited if the information cannot be applied to a critical decision. Please mention any research topic of your interest and discuss its significance for the customers, employees, governments, academician, and other related parties in detail

Analyze Ogden Nashâs poem âAdventures of Isabelâin terms of form and content, focusing on its main theme. (300 words)
Adventures of Isabel
Isabel met an enormous bear,
Isabel, Isabel, didnât care;
The bear was hungry, the bear was ravenous,
The bearâs big mouth was cruel and cavernous.
The bear said, Isabel, glad to meet you,
How do, Isabel, now Iâll eat you!
Isabel, Isabel, didnât worry.
Isabel didnât scream or scurry.
She washed her hands and she straightened her hair up,
Then Isabel quietly ate the bear up.
Once in a night as black as pitch
Isabel met a wicked old witch.
The witchâs face was cross and wrinkled,
The witchâs gums with teeth were sprinkled.
Ho, ho, Isabel! The old witch crowed,
Iâll turn you into an ugly toad!
Isabel, Isabel, didnât worry,
Isabel didnât scream or scurry,
She showed no rage and she showed no rancor,
But she turned the witch into milk and drank her.
Isabel met a hideous giant,
Isabel continued self-reliant.
The giant was hairy, the giant was horrid,
He had one eye in the middle of his forehead.
Good morning, Isabel, the giant said,
Iâll grind your bones to make my bread.
Isabel, Isabel, didnât worry,
Isabel didnât scream or scurry.
She nibled the zwieback that she always fed off,
And when it was gone, she cut the giantâs head off.
Isabel met a troublesome doctor,
He punched and he poked till he really shocked her.
The doctorâs talk was of coughs and chills
And the doctorâs satchel bulged with pills.
The doctor said unto Isabel,
Swallow this, it will make you well.
Isabel, Isabel, didnât worry,
Isabel didnât scream or scurry.
She took those pills from the pill concocter,
And Isabel calmly cured the doctor.

Read the article below and answer the questions that follow. Building a Digital Supply Chain Ready for the Future Complaints from frustrated customers were mounting at a major US retailer. More than 20% said they could not find the companyâs branded products in shops because items were out of stock. The problem was that efforts to improve service disrupted the companyâs low-cost distribution model. It had the right infrastructure but lacked the digital tools necessary to increase supply chain reliability. Moving quickly, the leadership team invested in digital tools to obtain real-time data, shorten replenishment cycle times, optimize deliveries and predict future demand. As data streamed in from stores the minute shoppers purchased goods, the company rapidly restocked hot-selling items to capture sales that it previously had lost. The shift cut retail cycle times by 20%, to four days, generating a 0.5% increase in sales. And that was just the first wave of improvement. Over the next 24 months, the company aims to reduce the time needed to fill store orders to two days, for a 60% total reduction in retail cycle time. Companies that integrate digital technologies into their supply chain can quickly improve service levels while cutting costs up to 30%. Just as important are the options that digital technologies provide to develop new business models and new strategies. For instance, leading-edge companies such as Adidas are deploying 3D printing to move some production closer to customers, offering greater product customization and shorter lead times. Despite those advantages, many companies are struggling to keep pace with an onslaught of digital trends that are disrupting traditional supply chain management, slashing response times and raising customersâ expectations. The speed of change is overwhelming, especially for those that are not digital natives. Seventy percent of executives expect digital innovation to have a significant impact on their supply chains during the next five years, according to a recent Bain survey, up from just 63% in 2016.
With reference to relevant theory and the information in the above-mentioned case study.
1. Discuss THE BELOW five major Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) processes that US retailers
would adopt to improve their operations. (10 Marks)
Design collaboration

Supply collaboration
I DO NOT WANT THE BELOW ANSWER PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE
Following are the five major supplier relationship management processes that the US retailers should adopt to improve their operations:-
A) Creating channels for consistent communication- Communication is the key factor in maintaining relationships with the suppliers. Communication will create transparency and remove any incorrect measures such as missing purchase orders or inventory count. Proper tools should be implemented by the retailers for maintaining communication relationship with the supplier.
B) Dish out blame evenly- Relationship when the supplier is ruined when all the blame is put on there working process. A proper communication should be made with the supplier and faults of both the sides should be considered.
C) Know you are not the only retailer- Suppliers are having multiple chain of retailers with whom they are working. The retailer should give supplier the benefit of doubt if the demand is not met instantly. Only priority products should be ordered by the procurement department instead of making unrequired demand of products.
D) Transparency through technology- Retailers must use fully integrated procure to pay system for accessing real time information which they have to request from the suppliers. The demand should be made through emails so that transparency is maintained.
E) Pay on time- Delayed payment of transactions ruins the relationship with supplier. Therefore, the first important task US retailer must do is to make timely payment to the suppliers so that they do not get a chance of holding back the order of the retailer.

Differentiation is seen as the only long-term sustainable competitive advantage for ASB Bank, so that âwe deliver on the promise and create advantageâ (ASB Bank, 2003). Assume you have been asked to help devise a sales promotion and direct marketing plan of action that would involve the ASB Bank and build on the bankâs advertising and brand driven image. Use the DSM provided in Chapter 4 to complete the following tasks:
â Outline what you feel to be the key background points to the direct banking case from a promotions and direct marketing perspective. From this information establish the likely target(s).
â From the information available, establish possible objectives and positioning for the promotion both generally and in particular. Write an outline direct marketing and promotions strategy proposal for the BankDirect brand, and suggest push, pull and profiling ideas as well as creative and media tactics.
â Provide ideas on the implementation of a promotions and direct marketing campaign for BankDirect by using the parameters in the implementation section of the DSM framework and show clearly what you would recommend in terms of allocation, budgets, timings, seasonality and so on. Pay particular attention to technological leadership and service leadership aspects of ASB Bank as underlined by Robert the Robot and Ira Goldstein.
â Using the final section of the DSM, the control section, suggest what monitoring, evaluation and research methods and techniques you would employ to maximize efficiency and effectiveness of the BankDirect promotions and direct marketing campaign.
