Today PJ and I start a new job lecturing at Epping Forest College. A big thanks to Morgan Hunt recruitment for all your help in getting this job. It’s not been an easy job search for face to face lecturing, with me having an assistance dog.

My Linkedin account was recently hacked despite having 2 stage verification system. Firstly apologies if anyone got spammed through that. Secondly hackers are getting clever and working out ways to defeat systems , so always keep up to date on security especially on social media sites where they can not only gain peronal details but also get access to friends, family, colleagues etc details.

Day one of teaching, employability, construction industry and health and safety, Throw in a bit of British Values and safeguarding, all done online which is really strange but my commute is now 30s from bed to office.

A first for me. I got a job in a college without even having to do a formal interview. PJ and I had interviewed for another college (in south London) which included carrying out a 20 minute lesson to my interviewers and after all my security checks and reference checks I was offered a position a few weeks ago, but it was only for covering a long term illness. However, lo and behold the person made a rapid recovery when he found out that he was going to be replaced. So the South London college recommended me to a college closer to where I live. PJ and I start there on Monday teaching 16-19 year olds.
