Mini Miracles Montessori – new nursery location confirmed - Opening Mid October.

We just wanted to let you know the plans for our second Mini Miracles Montessori site.

We’re delighted to be able to announce that the new nursery will be situated at St Paul’s Church Hall in Brentford, having been asked by the Parish of Brentford to take on the setting.

It’s been an amazing journey growing our St Faith’s site from nothing to a thriving nursery with fantastic staff and even more fantastic children, and we’re so grateful for the opportunity to do it all over again!

Now that the site is confirmed, we’re going to be extremely busy in the coming weeks, refurbishing the nursery – new kitchen, new classrooms, new outdoor areas and lots of learning resources so we can hit the ground running, Mini Miracles style – and the doors will be opening officially in mid-October.

Applications for children from 6 months to 5 years are now open with immediate effect, and we will be offering funded hours so if you are interested in your children attending at St Paul’s, or you have friends or family members who would be, please drop me an email [email protected] and we’ll come back to you with more information.

We're excited to make St Paul’s our own, and help even more children to have the best possible start in life.

Cooking activities can encourage children to learn about the different senses and textures of food, colours, shapes, quantities of ingredients that go in and it also supports their practical life skills and social skills, making them confident and independent learners.

Problem solving activities can help children to become more confident and independent. It's also an important life skill that they need to develop so that they can make decisions for themselves.

Our Preschooler today was so proud of himself for completing all these transport puzzles all by himself!

Today some of our Toddlers and Preschoolers took part in a practical life activity in small groups with their peers.

The activity involved role modelling and discussing basic hygiene care and the safe use of tools when handling food.

The children used great hand and eye coordination and fine motor control to cut small pieces of fruit and vegetables for their afternoon snack.

This simple Montessori activity also helps to promote children's confidence, independence and the understanding of the world around them.

Our Toddlers and Pre-schoolers learnt about the different types of materials that can and cannot be recycled during a sorting activity. They used our colour coded recycling bins to understand where materials can be placed when being thrown away.

They also enjoyed 'cleaning our oceans' during a water play activity using spoons to remove all the items they deemed as rubbish.
