This Thursday, Restore to Soar continues with Week 4: Caring for You.

The evening is a gentle invitation to slow down and turn your attention back toward yourself - without guilt, without judgement, and without any pressure to have it all together.

Caring for yourself is not selfish.
It is necessary.
It is how healing continues.

Today is Valentine’s Day

A day often filled with flowers, cards, and expressions of love for others.
But today, we want to gently remind you of something deeper:

“Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life.”
Proverbs 4:23

After heartbreak, separation, or significant relationship change, many women keep going by staying strong on the outside - while their hearts quietly carry so much within. Guarding your heart doesn’t mean closing it off. It means tending to it with truth, gentleness, and care.

This season may not look like what you expected - but your heart still matters. Your healing matters. You matter.

Next Thursday, 19th February, we gather again for Week 3: You Are Not Alone - a space to be seen, supported, and reminded that you don’t have to walk this journey by yourself.

If your heart has been carrying more than it should, this space is for you.

Time to Heal

Some women are surviving.
Some women are coping.
Some women are smiling… but carrying more than anyone knows.

If that’s you, this is for you.

Tonight’s Time to Heal session is not about pretending everything is fine. It is about deciding that your heart deserves attention. That your healing matters. That you are not finished.

You are not weak because you felt pain.
You are not behind because you needed time.
You are not broken beyond repair.
You are a woman with strength still in her bones and purpose still in her future.

Healing doesn’t begin when everything feels perfect. It begins when you decide you are worth the work.

If something inside you is saying, “I need this,” listen to it.
• Come tonight.
• Come expectant.
• Come ready to stand up internally and say, “I’m not staying here.”

Your next chapter does not begin someday. It begins with one decision.

My Story – How Restore to Soar Was Born

"Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life."
Proverbs 4:23

After 24 years of marriage, when it all came to an end, it didn’t feel like a new beginning - it felt like something precious had quietly closed. I was heartbroken and uncertain of what to do or how to move forward. My identity had been so entwined with someone else that I no longer recognised who I was on my own.

It was as if I had been buried beneath the weight of it all, like a seed in the ground - hidden, still, and waiting. But in that stillness, something began to shift. I realised that, just like a seed, I needed to grow deep roots before I could rise again.

It wasn’t easy. There were tears, reflection, and moments of doubt. Yet through it all, God was at work - guiding me gently, helping me rediscover who I truly was, and reminding me that my story was not over.

From that journey, Restore to Soar was born - a faith-filled space for women ready to rebuild, rediscover, and rise stronger than before.

You are not alone. Healing is possible. And your story - like mine - can lead to something beautifully new.

Guard Your Heart... this phrase is often misunderstood. It does not mean shutting down, becoming hardened, or avoiding connection. It means learning how to care for what is precious within you.

After relationship breakdown, the heart can feel exposed and tender. Trust may feel fragile, emotions closer to the surface, and boundaries less clear. In this season, guarding your heart is an act of wisdom, not fear.

To guard your heart is to notice what drains you and what restores you. It is choosing when to engage and when to rest. It is allowing yourself to heal without rushing, explaining, or justifying where you are.

At Restore to Soar, we see guarding the heart as a gentle, intentional practice. One that creates space for healing, clarity, and renewed strength. When the heart is cared for, what flows from it can once again be peace, confidence, and purpose.

If you are learning how to protect your heart while remaining open to healing, please know this: taking care of yourself is not selfish. It is necessary.

Acknowledging Loss and Allowing Grief

When a relationship ends, the loss is rarely just about the relationship itself. It can include the future you imagined, the roles you held, the sense of belonging, and the life that once felt familiar.

Grief in these moments is natural, yet many women feel pressure to move on quickly, to be strong, or to minimise what they are feeling. But grief does not follow a timetable, and it is not something to be fixed or rushed.

At Restore to Soar, we hold space for loss to be acknowledged with compassion. Allowing grief is not about dwelling in the past. It is about giving your heart permission to recognise what has been lost, so healing can begin honestly and gently.

If you are navigating separation or divorce and finding yourself carrying grief quietly, please know this: what you are feeling makes sense. You do not have to carry it alone. Support begins with being seen, heard, and held in a safe space.
