Collaborative Montessori went to Grude, Herzevigovina. Last week, Michela was invited by Violeta, the leading Bosnian manufacturer of personal and household care, to visit their Montessori kindergarten Vrtic Pony. Michela spent 3 days with the teachers and the children aged 18 months to 6 years observing and discussing Montessori best practices and further development opportunities. She said: “The teachers and the management at Pony have the Montessori philosophy in their hearts and this transpires so vividly in their practice!” Michela also had the pleasure of visiting the company’s care home. She says: “The commitment of the staff and of the management to their guests’ holistic care and the standard of the facilities are exemplary. Guests truly feel they are ‘home’ and are surrounded by their new family and friends.”
Thank you particularly to Ante and Angela from Violeta for this enriching opportunity.

Collaborative Montessori: The Heart of Montessori: Building Knowledge and Understanding through the Child’s Lens

Saturday June 7th, 2025 Time 10am- 12pm
Facilitated by : Sarah Olley and Hannah Joy
Join us for an engaging workshop on the Knowledge and Understanding curriculum in the Montessori classroom. This area of the curriculum is where we can truly follow the child, allowing their natural curiosity and interests to guide their learning. We will explore how this foundational aspect can be seamlessly woven through all curriculum areas, creating an environment that comes alive with the voices, experiences, and ideas of the children. Through rich, hands-on activities and a focus on meaningful discovery, we will learn how to nurture a classroom that reflects the unique individuality of each child, fostering a dynamic, vibrant learning space.

We are happy to announce another international accreditation, The Children’s House in the Seychelles! 🇸🇨 spent time with the teachers and students and this is what she has to say.

It has been a pleasure working with all the staff at The Children’s House Seychelles, Pre-school and Primary. Their hard work towards developing their Montessori practices in all stages of the process is humbling; the owner’s commitment to share the Montessori philosophy with the wider community and their children’s parents is inspiring. I thank you for an interesting, stimulating and enjoyable accreditation journey. Michela.

Congrats to this wonderful community!
