Before you submit that application, CHECK THESE 5 THINGS:

1️⃣ COURSE & CAREER FIT 🎯
Does the course actually align with your academic background and future career goals? Don’t choose a course simply because it sounds interesting.

2️⃣ ENTRY REQUIREMENTS 📚
Check the academic qualifications, English requirements, work experience and any additional documents required. One missing requirement can delay your application.

3️⃣ TOTAL COST 💰
Don’t look at tuition fees alone! Consider accommodation, living expenses, health insurance, transport, visa fees and other costs.

4️⃣ VISA & FINANCIAL REQUIREMENTS 🛂
Getting an admission letter is NOT the same as getting a visa. Make sure you understand the financial evidence and visa requirements before applying.

5️⃣ INTAKE & DEADLINES ⏰
Some courses fill up quickly. Check application deadlines, deposit deadlines and visa processing timelines so you’re not rushing at the last minute.

Before clicking “SUBMIT”, ask yourself:
“If I receive this admission tomorrow, am I financially, academically and mentally prepared to go?”

MONDAY REMINDER: Sometimes, what looks like coincidence is actually a beautiful connection waiting to happen.

Have you ever experienced a moment that made you stop and say, “This cannot be a coincidence!”?

That was me last Friday evening in Vancouver, Canada 🇨🇦.

I went out for dinner, and the person serving me turned out to be a University of Worcester alumnus! 🎓

He studied Graphic Design and graduated in 2014.

Now, what are the odds? 😄

I don’t often meet people in Vancouver with a connection to Worcester, so the moment we discovered that we were both alumni, I was genuinely excited. Of course, I had to take a photo! 📸

Because sometimes, the places we come from continue to connect us long after we have left them.

It reminded me of something I strongly believe in: education is much bigger than a certificate.

Education creates communities.
Education opens doors.
Education builds lifelong connections.
And sometimes, education brings two strangers together thousands of miles away from where their journey began. 🌍

Worcester to the world! 🌎🎓

I couldn’t be prouder to be an alumna of the University of Worcester. And I am equally proud to be a partner and international student recruiter, helping students discover opportunities at a university that has played such an important role in my own journey.
