Learning doesn't stop when the observation ends. Our trainee teachers reflected on the differences between primary and secondary settings, the role teachers play in shaping learning, and the high-impact strategies they can take forward into their own secondary classrooms.
Applications for next academic year close in under a month. If you're considering a career in teaching, now is the time to apply.

Our secondary trainees who visited had a fantastic day exploring the journey from primary to secondary education. From observing lessons and discussing transition experiences with pupils and staff, to gaining valuable insight into how schools support children at this important stage, it has been a truly enriching experience.
And of course, no school visit would be complete without trying a school dinner! 🍽️
If you're passionate about making a difference in young people's lives and are considering a career in teaching, applications are now open for trainee teachers starting next academic year. Find out more about training with us: https://niot.org.uk/become-a-teacher-niot
