✅ Laugh hysterically constantly. What a joy

✅ Patience, he learns at his own pace, not mine

✅ Lead by what I do, not what I say, because he copies the doing

✅ Watch my reactions, since he’s building his from mine.

✅ Master myself first, before I can guide him.

✅ He mirrors me, so I have to become what I want him to be

✅ To live your childhood, but even the years you don’t remember, all over again through his eyes.

✅ Show up fully, because he knows the difference between there and present.

I prayed to God, after a rock bottom moment in full surrender. After following anything and everything apart from Christ.

That same night as I was falling asleep I had a vision. Fully conscious on my bed, fully conscious in the vision. I had never had a dream for YEARS before this.

I had literally just prayed for God to show me the truth because I was lost, to show me anything. Then this happened that same night….

If you had told me a few years ago that I’d be talking openly about Jesus Christ, I wouldn’t have believed you. I wasn’t looking for religion or expecting any of this. Yet here I am, sharing my testimony because I’ve come to realise there is something many of us are missing, especially as men.

A relationship with our Creator.

We spend so much of our lives building identities around achievement, money, status, success, our past, our failures, or what other people think of us. But all of those things are temporary. They’re constantly changing. If our identity is built on anything that can be taken away, we’ll always be searching for something more.

The Bible has become far more than a book to me. It’s the foundation of who we are, where we came from, why we’re here, and where we’re going. It has changed the way I see myself, my relationships, and my purpose.

This isn’t about religion. It’s about a relationship with a loving father, God. Who’s waiting for us all to turn back.

I’m still on the journey and loving every moment of it. The peace, adventure, and wonder I’ve found in walking with Christ are beyond anything I’ve ever experienced.

Even if this plants a small seed of potential for others, to no longer search for identity in the world, and start seeking it from the One who gave everything. All glory to God.

Tomorrow I’m going to share my testimony of how I came to Christ. It was nothing I expected or was looking for, but God had other plans. What a journey it has been so far.

I’m signed, sealed and delivered. Well maybe not fully delivered, but I’m truly getting there. Amen
