Deborah Barnett is a pioneer in alternative provision education and education centre manager for transforming lives for good education centres. A Christian charity that has setup education centres from local churches. She has many years of experience within education and has been a leader in providing solutions for equality within education.

This will be a discussion on what the social inequalities faced within education and how a distinct Christian ethos and how it’s implementation within policy and curriculum can alleviate some of these social injustices and inequalities.

Roger Kiska is legal counsel for the christian legal centre and has a breadth of expertise on current issues within UK curriculum and that surrounding the new RSE curriculum that is being pushed to be implemented in schools in the UK

This will be a discussion on what the RSE curriculum entails and the rights of teachers and parents to safeguard children and uphold our christian values and morals within education.

Principles sustain and maintain a culture

Christian educators: How can we exercise these principles in our teaching and learning?

With schools having re-opened this term, how we do school has already changed and will continue to change. Christian teachers what areas in our teaching and learning can be shifted towards a Christ and kingdom representation?

Reformation:
- The action or process of reforming an institution or practice
- Making changes to something with the intention of setting it back in the right path

We change through consistent and fervent display of kingdom priorities, values and beliefs (standards) that bring about change leading to His original design and intent for Education

Matthew 6:10, Ephesians 3:9-11

Christian educators:
Our biblical principles, beliefs and values, should underpin how we execute teaching methods, implement various learning strategies and adhere to school policies.

Intentionality
/ɪˈntɛnʃ(ə)nalɪti/
- The fact of being deliberate or purposive.

If we are to effect change there must be intentionality!
God's intent for education must form the basis of how and what we implement as teachers/educators.

How intentional have we been about providing biblical solutions to problems within the education system?

Now more than ever there must be conversation centred around a rebuild of school structure and schooling!

With Christian principles being the foundation, What does this rebuild look like?
