Wonderful man ❤️

Pete Wicks has been praised for an extraordinary act of compassion after helping rescue 170 dogs from a brutal Korean meat farm. The animals were found starving, terrified, and unfamiliar with basic care, many too weak to stand when help arrived.

Working alongside animal welfare teams, Pete helped shut the farm down and ensured every dog was safely removed from cruelty. Thirteen deeply traumatised dogs bonded closely with him during the rescue, and he made the life-changing decision to bring them back to the UK.

Now safe, warm, and loved, the dogs are thriving a powerful reminder of how empathy and action can truly change lives.

Such a compassionate man and a gentle soul.. x🥰😍

British TV star Pete Wicks has shown extraordinary courage and compassion by rescuing 170 terrified dogs from a harsh Korean meat farm. Upon arrival, he discovered starving, frightened animals, many too weak to stand and unfamiliar with even the smallest act of kindness. Refusing to turn away, Pete collaborated with an animal welfare team to shut the farm down and ensure every dog was safely relocated, promising they would never face cruelty again.

Among the rescued were 13 especially traumatised dogs who clung to Pete throughout the rescue. Understanding their need for love and stability, he brought all 13 back to the UK, giving them the safe, nurturing home they had never known.

Today, these once-fearful dogs thrive—sleeping in warm beds, playing freely, and experiencing gentle care for the first time. For Pete, the rescue was transformative, proving the power of compassion to heal and change lives, both human and animal.
A story of bravery, kindness, and hope that will inspire anyone who believes in making a difference.
