An insightful day spent at the University of Surrey attending The Conference with Henry Penfold.

A fantastic array of speakers whose strong messages on truly impactful, inclusive practice resonated through the day. Great to hear from David Curran Patrick McGrath Al Kingsley MBE Matthew Wemyss Michelle Catterson Matt Dean Nici Foote Dr Susie NYMAN other experts, who were kind enough to share inspiring stories and insightful methodology.

Paddy’s quote that is “Necessary for some. Useful for all” will be one that I will be passing on to the staff that I train moving forward.

An inclusion classroom means EVERYONE benefits from the tools that are available and when we plan, we need to design a lesson with accessibility embedded from the start, not as an afterthought.

Wonderful day in London at the ‘Wisdom in a Wired World’ conference with my Eduthingltd colleagues.

We were proud to sponsor the event and I was honoured to be part of a panel discussing social media use with children.

Enjoyed showcasing some of our robots from our pupil workshops - Ohbot intelino Robosen Robotics, Inc.

Fascinating keynotes and discussions all day, especially around on AI Awareness Day and thought provoking words from Sir Anthony Seldon and Dame Rachel De Souza.

Thanks to all the organisers who did a superb job.

A fantastic 24 hours in as I delivered my last Computing hub day of the year to computing leads in the Emmaus Catholic Academy Trust.

Through the day we covered:
⭐️ Leading Computing with Confidence
⭐️ Accessibility Tools to Support Inclusion
⭐️ Digital Creativity in the Wider Curriculum

There was great engagement from the delegates who can’t wait to implement their action plans and the ideas shared into their practice!

Wonderful to also catch up with Jon Samuel who still smiled for my picture even though Man City didn’t win last night. 🤣

I’ve really enjoyed the partnership with the PTI hubs this year and hope it continues into 26/27 with visits to more hubs around the country.
