Wow! What a week to end Spring 1 on! The whole team were busy delivering Online Safety workshops for children, parents and staff for .
I did double days of workshops at 2 wonderful schools where I’ve previously delivered Robotics workshops. It was great to return to Bromley High School GDST and work with all the girls across the school and deliver to parents. Read the article here: https://www.bromleyhigh.gdst.net/news-events/news/learning-to-navigate-the-digital-world/ Thanks to Samantha Shallcross for inviting me back.
I then ended the week returning to Elmgrove Primary School in Harrow to deliver 2 sessions on Adaptive Teaching in Computing and then a hands-on introduction to Micro:bits and Crumble kits for all staff.
This feedback made it for me: “The training session was really informative and interactive. Even on a Friday afternoon, and the end of term, James still made it interesting and fun! Thank you.”
Looking forward to half term now and sometime to recharge my batteries for Spring 2. Wishing everyone some well deserved R&R. 😌

So after a Saturday morning 5:15am wake up, followed by 4️⃣ trains and 2️⃣ buses to get across to Kent, it was wonderful to partner up with my EdTech bro, Allen Tsui, to deliver a workshop to children attending the inspiring Maritime Academy Trust Skills Academy.
It was a truly inclusive session that gave these children the chance to get hands-on with physical computing kit that they wouldn’t normally have access too. This included Robosen Europe K1, Sphero Indi & Mini, Ohbot, intelino and Tooby the Robot Dog! 🤖🐶
We got great feedback from the kids who said they can’t wait for us to come back! 🙌
Looking forward to delivering a repeat and a follow up session for this Eduthingltd trust over the next 4 months.
